One of my favorite players from 90s-era NBA basketball is stepping down from the game.
Toni Kukoc was my second favorite player (after Jordan, of course, and, while he was always a sixth man and not the superstar, he was a fantastic player who could do so much more at most every position than many. As Deadspin says, this is the end of the era of the best team in the NBA in the era that I grew up in.
As a tribute, I will wear my old Bulls #7 jersey that is still tucked away in my drawer at home.
Oh wait, I probably can't fit in that jersey anymore. ;-)
